Retailer here. I would absolutely love all inclusive pricing legislation. Since we're not trying to screw our customers (we're a co-op, so our customers are also our owners), I'd love to be on a fairer playing field with frontline pricing from the businesses trying to lie, cheat, and steal their way to a higher margin.
Sadly for me you are the minority. A lot of businesses will try their best to squeeze their customers, see also the very popular shrinkflation.
I am in an homogeneous country where taxes are the same everywhere and tips are not expected, but more and more businesses are printing their menus with +tax+service attached, suddenly hiding that their prices are actually 20% higher than listed. Completely unnecessary and sometimes fraudulent (oops forgot to mention it on the menu)
